Setting Up Event Categories

From the admin dashboard, click on the Events tab and then select Categories.

Now select New.

Name your category and assign it to the correct parent category. If the category will be a parent, you don’t need to do anything.

Set the access level to Registered if you only want people who are registered on your platform to see it. If you want the public to see the event, leave the access level on Public. 

Make sure Published is toggled to Yes. 

When you are finished, click Save.
